The Decision State
Most projects arrive at Ingtekh in a decision state rather than a construction state. The objective is understood in general terms, but the path is not: conditions are uncertain, requirements are unconfirmed, timing pressures are real, and several reasonable options appear to compete with one another.
Committing budget, drawings, or contracts before that state is resolved is how projects acquire cost and delay that no one planned for.

Our role is to understand the project before recommending anything. We examine what the client is trying to accomplish, what the property and the applicable requirements actually allow, and which dependencies control the sequence of decisions.
The output is not a sales proposal. It is a clear description of the project, the viable paths, the trade-offs of each, and the most responsible next step.

Establish what success means for this project in the client's terms, including what must be protected—use, operations, occupancy, budget, or timing.

Understand existing conditions, stakeholders, timing, and constraints
Review what physically exists, who has a decision or approval role, when the project must move, and which constraints are fixed rather than negotiable.

Identify dependencies
Determine which decisions depend on other decisions—documentation, professional design input, agency review, product lead time, or field verification—so the sequence is understood before work begins.

Evaluate viable paths
Compare the realistic options against the objective and constraints, describing the trade-offs of each in plain language rather than presenting a single predetermined answer.

Define the next phase
Recommend the next responsible step, what it requires, who needs to be involved, and what it will clarify—so the client can commit with a clear understanding of why.

Strategy work frequently continues into technical coordination, permitting, or construction delivery once the path is defined.
Boundaries
Project guidance requires clear professional boundaries. Ingtekh provides construction and project leadership guidance; it does not provide architectural or engineering design services, legal advice, or code determinations reserved to licensed design professionals and public authorities.
When a project requires those services, we identify the need and coordinate with appropriately licensed professionals. Approvals, interpretations, and inspection outcomes remain decisions of the authorities having jurisdiction — outcomes we cannot guarantee, but we stay engaged with those authorities and respond directly if issues arise.
